Website Audit & Report
Find out what's holding your site back
Websites can get a bit stuck. Traffic goes flat, leads dry up, and it's hard to put your finger on why. An audit is a proper look at the site from outside, finding what's actually holding it back and giving you a clear list of things to fix.
What's included
From £395- Technical audit covering page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile, HTTPS and structured data
- SEO review looking at indexing, schema, on-page structure and keyword opportunities
- UX and conversion review across page flow, CTAs, friction points and trust signals
- Competitor benchmarking against 2 similar businesses
- Prioritised action plan as a PDF, ranked by what'll make the biggest difference
- 30 minute walkthrough call once you've had time to read it
That covers a single site under 50 pages, in English, not behind a login. If yours is bigger or more complex, the scope stretches. Have a read below.
What typically extends the scope
Things that bump the quote up, in plain English.
- E-commerce stores with big product catalogs like Shopify or WooCommerce
- Multi-region or multi-language sites
- Deeper technical audits on custom integrations or legacy systems
- Doing the fixes for you after the audit (that's a separate quote)
- Quarterly or annual audit retainers
Every audit is a fixed price after a quick 15 minute chat to scope it out. No surprises.
How we work
Drop me a message via the contact form and give me a bit about your site and what's on your mind
Quick 15 minute call so I understand what you're actually trying to get out of it
Fixed quote so you know exactly what you're paying
I get access: the site URL at minimum, test logins if you want the logged-in or account areas reviewed, plus Search Console and Analytics if you've got them
5 working days later you get the PDF report
We jump on a 30 minute call so I can walk you through it and you can ask anything
If you want me to do the fixes after, I'll quote for that separately. No pressure either way.
Real work
Anonymised case study: a UK B2B trade supplier
A UK B2B trade supplier asked for an independent review of their site before taking findings to the board. Thousands of products in the catalogue, thousands of trade accounts, and a site that hadn't had fresh eyes on it in a long time. The audit covered first-time user experience, product discovery across a large catalogue, the trade portal, mobile, and a benchmark against three direct competitors. Delivered as a PDF report with findings ranked by priority, plus a follow-up call.
Common questions
- Do I need to give you access to my site?
- Just the URL for most of it. Search Console and Analytics help if you've got them set up, but they're not essential. If you want the logged-in or account areas reviewed, I'll need test logins for that too.
- Will you actually fix what you find, or just list it?
- The audit is the report. If you want me to do the fixes, I'll quote separately once you've read it and decided what you want to tackle.
- How long does it take?
- 5 working days from when you pay, unless your site is bigger or more complex. We'd cover that on the scoping call.
- What do I actually get?
- A PDF report with every issue ranked by priority, plus a 30 minute call to walk through it.
- Does this work for non-WordPress sites?
- Yes. I audit any platform. WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow, custom builds, whatever you've got.
